Wrap Care Guide
Practical care for your vehicle wrap
Recommended Practices
First Week After Installation
Do not wash your vehicle during the first week. Avoid leaving it in the rain while the wrap edges set.
Washing Your Wrap
- Pre-rinse with clean water to remove loose dirt
- Hand wash with mild, pH-neutral soap and a soft sponge or microfiber towel. Work from the top down without aggressive scrubbing.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue
- Dry with a microfiber towel to reduce water spots
- Test care products in an inconspicuous area first
Protection & Maintenance
- Remove contaminants promptly, including bird droppings, insects, tree sap, and fuel spills. Soak stubborn residue with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Limit sun exposure when possible to reduce UV-related fading and deterioration
- Inspect edges and seams regularly, including areas under stress. Contact us if you notice lifting or damage.
- Ask about material-specific products before applying sealants or other treatments
Avoid These Mistakes
- Avoid automatic car washes. Hand wash your wrap using the steps above.
- Avoid petroleum-based cleaners, abrasive cleaners, and rough tools.
- Do not use waxes or polishes on matte finishes. They can create unwanted shine.
- Do not alter or repair the wrap yourself. Contact us to review lifting, damaged film, or removal needs.
- Do not leave contaminants on the film. Residue from birds, insects, trees, or fuel can stain the wrap.
Care for Your Material & Finish
Vinyl Wraps
Use gentle cleaning methods and check edges and seams regularly. Keep your installation details available when asking about products or care.
Paint Protection Film
Ask us for care instructions for your specific film before applying a cleaning product, sealant, or treatment.
Matte Finishes
Avoid waxes and polishes that can add shine. Limit sun exposure and use products suitable for the installed finish.
Sun, road salt, pollution, and acidic residue can affect the film. These general care steps do not replace instructions for your specific material or its warranty terms.
